This work is indebted to the great skill of the master tinsmith James Collins. Inspired by watching the craftsman at work, these pieces were later created using traditional Irish tinsmithing techniques such as those practiced by Collins. An interesting dialogue emerges within these forms: between these vessels that represent our most basic human needs, and jewellery.
